Description
Patrick Cullen married Ellen Healy from Cork City on Thanksgiving eve, 24 November 1887, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norwalk, CT. Ms Doherty has their wedding picture and marriage certificate. On the same day, Josephine Hannon and Patrick Joseph Kennedy were married in Boston. In Sept. 1888 their first child, Joseph Patrick Kennedy (JFK's father) was born--one week after the 15 September 1888 birth of Patrick and Ellen (Nellie) Cullen's first child, Michael Thomas Cullen. [Archivist note: 'Ross' may refer to Laragh and Ross (townland) in Co. Roscommon.]
