Brown Brothers Letters
Title
Samuel Brown, Philadelphia, to nephew, James Brown (son of David), c/o Messrs. Tumly & Batt, merchants, Belfast, 12 March 1815
Description
Short: Could be considered as included with and part of the above letter to David, James's father. Prices are low in the war's immed. aftermath. Mostly patriotic bombast at the expense of the "defeated" English; praises the marksmanship of the locals. Not really worth including. [Kerby Miller identifies the recipient of this letter as 'James Brown #2' in a note that reads "last in Belfast; son of David; nephew of Samuel & Thomas; and cousin of the James Brown who has been in Philadelphia since 1810"].
