Thomas Reilly Letters
Title
Thomas Reilly, Dublin, to John Kelly, Dublin, no date (184(?))
Description
Reilly is disparaging in his opinion of "the repeal question" which he considers as "legal humbug" and believes that [John] Mitchell's proposal of armed rebellion is the only means to force England to grant it. He asks Kelly if he could give him a loan against a lease he possesses or anyone else who would, as he wishes to go to America. [It is likely that this letter was written in the same year as the letter dated 'no date (184(6?))'.]
