Poorly photocopied ms., not transcribed; no notes except those below. Writer thanks James for his letter and for the gold ring that Caroline Peebles, a returned emigrant, brought from America. She writes about how happy is their mother to have received a letter, a picture, and a gift from William. Her new baby is named James. [letter is addressed from Edenderry, possibly located in Portadown town, but there is another townland in Eglish civil parish].
