Title
Photograph of Peter "Phatch" Faherty loading Seaweed onto the back of his pony.
Description
Photograph of a man loading Seaweed into a basket on the back of his grey pony, Aran Islands. The man is Peter ?Phatch? Faherty. Peter stands to the left, lifting Seaweed to a basket with both hands. He wears a hat, a dark jumper and grey trousers. The pony faces the camera. Seaweed is strewn about at its feet. Seaweed also hangs down from the baskets at the pony's sides. A stone wall, behind the pony and Peter, is just visible running along the edge of the flat, grassy area. Other fields can be seen over the wall. Above them is the vast cloudy sky which frames Peter and the pony.
