Title
Photograph of a pig being handed from a large boat into a currach.
Description
Photograph of a pig being handed down from a large boat into a currach, Aran Islands. On the right is part of the large boat. A currach is drawn up along side it. On the left two other currachs have drawn up beside the first one. In the right background, a man on the large boat leans out, holding a pig under its front legs. One of the men in the first currach takes the pig. He is standing up and his ripped trousers can be clearly seen. He also wears a flat cap, a body warmer and a shirt. A second man in the currach, also wearing a flat cap, is visible in the left foreground. He turns to look at the camera. In the right background, another man can be seen holding a pig.
