Tommy Makem, playing the piccolo, sits at the back on the left. The man beside him plays a banjo. In the front row, Peter and Jack Makem have their feet on cushions, on the floor. Jack Makem plays the uileann pipes. Peter and the last man both play the fiddle. A microphone stands in the right foreground. In the centre background is a closed door. In the right background is a dresser displaying various items including cups and a small, probably ceramic, cottage. The floor is patterned with flowers.
