Description
Photograph of the McPeake family trio playing the uileann pipes and harp at a summer fair in Carlingford. Frank McPeake and his son Francis play the uileann pipes. James McPeake plays the harp. All three players sit on wooden foldable chairs. James sit on the left and Francis in the middle. Frank sits, further forward, on the right and wears breeches, ending below the knee, a white shirt, long grey socks and black sandals. Francis and James are dressed very similiarly to Frank, but Francis wears a black jacket and both wear shoes instead of sandals. The land is flat with short grass. Behind the players people mill about between white tents. Chimney pots are visible in the left background.
