Photograph of Peter "Phatch" Faherty piling Seaweed onto the back of a grey pony, Inishmore, Aran Islands. Peter stands to the left, tying a load of Seaweed to a basket with both hands. He wears a hat with a bobble, a dark jumper and grey trousers. His face is turn away. The pony faces the camera. The Seaweed is piled high on its back and hangs down from the baskets at its sides. A stone wall, behind the pony and Peter, runs along the edge of the flat, grassy area. Above it is the vast cloudy sky.
