Description
In his letter from St James's Palace, the Earl of Suffolk passes on the concern of the King regardng the dangers of depopulating the north of Ireland, through emigration to North America and his wish to curtail plans which are encouraging considerable numbers of emigrants from Ireland and Scotland to relocate. Includes an extract of a letter from the Lord Justice Clerk, Barskiming, to the Earl of Suffolk, 27 October 1773.
