The garda sits facing left, in full uniform, looking at some papers he is holding from a bunch on the desk. The walls behind are for the most part bare with some wiring. In the central background a white box hangs on the wall, in the corner of the room. The ID on Garda B.30's collar is as it would appear in a mirror suggesting that the photograph has been flipped. Perhaps the negative was developed from the wrong side.
